New artist | A. CASANOVA | Artevistas Gallery

A. Casanova | Baño 1 | Detalle de la obra

I already escaped from the pretentious and tendentious attempt to make great speeches about what I do. One day the sun came out and I said - Casanova, the important thing to paint is paint. Therefore, paints what excites you, consider what happens to you ... let them talk. And this is what I did. I discarded the cumbersome and pedantic speeches.
As I  recently read in an article of the discloser Punset: "Why do not we talk about things that really matter in people's daily life?. I mean somethings less bombastic and dull, but fundamental for homespun."
Speaking about the everyday and the intimate, from the irony and humor. All that can happen, as far as emotion and emotional concerns, in the life of anybody. Discarding outdated idea of painting as object solemn and untouchable. Escape ideas and striking images, demagogues or militant. create in a dilettante little theater, in which does not represent anything extraordinary. The icon is a supplement, a bonus of what really matters: painting. (Alejandro Casanova Barberán)

NEW ARTIST | A. IVARS | ARTEVISTAS GALLERY

Aline Ivars, a french artist from Niort, rediscovers the world through the eyes of a child. Through his art works combines sensitivity and detachment. His painting is both introspection and exploration of humanity, the fusion of past, present and future. His illustrations, rich in meaning, make vibrate the viewer's inner child, remind him who he was and bring it back to its true nature. These images, childish, poetic and melancholic  talk to the “l'enfant ROI”, this little thing hidden in all those who observe life without compromise, with true sincerity and emotion. In these works, the colors, looks and characters share space, the details and symbols, then dive into fantasy and hypnotic painting.

NEW ARTIST | BERNAL | ARTEVISTAS GALLERY

"Under the title Movements and cycles I made a series of 11 paintings through which I wanted to immortalize the vestiges of my memory, pieces of my ephemeral existence.

All the paintings in this series present the concept of time, the path that draw my steps through the space and as a result, my tracks configured cycles: some open and others closed.

I work with different materials: pigment, latex, oil, acrylic, spray and paper...

All the paintings are on canvas and in all the color is what prevails. These are colors that are superimposed to set up my work space: the result is "walls" encoded by numbers, letters and other signs. I associate its symbolism to the feelings I experience when mute skin." Bernal.
